Reclaim the Disk Space When You Use Visual Studio Code

Microsoft Visual Studio Code is a great free tool that I used everyday. But after using it for a long time, you might lose many GB of storage because of it. I didn’t realized that either until I tried to clean my laptop for some extra space.

Here are few places that you could reclaim your lost disk space from Visual Studio Code:

C:\Users\tipsarea\AppData\Local\Microsoft\vscode-cpptools\ipch

C:\Users\tipsarea\AppData\Roaming\Code\User\workspaceStorage

After deleting the content in these 2 directories, I have 4 GB of free space.
