I was trying to add some “social” flavor to my website. Who doesn’t these days? The most important network in my mind are Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Linkedin so I would like something that can share in these network in one place.
Despite the long name “Add Twitter, Facebook Like, Google plus one Social share”, this plugin is the best one I found in the WordPress.org.
In case you don’t know how to get the plugins from for your website. You can login with admin account to your website. And then follow Plugins->Add new, ->search plugins, once you found the one you like, you can click the “Install Now”.
For this plugin, the options can be set at “Settings”->”TF Social Sharing”.
By default, the option “Auto Display” is enabled and you can control the position for the share bar to be above the post, below the post or floating at left side.
One thing I found confusing about the auto display is that it only shows the bar when you are reading individual post. It won’t appear for the full post list.
If you choose not to “auto display” you can also manually enable the sharing buttons by adding a short code in your post.
